The lodge in Creel features a restaurant, bar, and even a fireplace in the lobby.  The cabins have 2 double beds, private bathroom and satellite TV.  Tour a Jesuits church  built in the 1600s or visit some of  the Tarahumara  Indian artisans and enjoy their crafts.  You can hike a short distance to a beautiful waterfall and view other beautiful natural sights .  This lodge is the most picturesque hotel in the town of Creel.  It overlooks the Tarahumara Mountains and is well situated for exploring this charming area, which is the gateway to Copper Canyon.  The town of Creel offers so many unique experiences one can easily spend an entire day or two exploring without getting tired of sightseeing.   At the end of the day enjoy a fabulous dinner and happy hour at the lodge. The next morning, after a great breakfast, get back aboard the 11 o'clock Chepe Train for the return leg of your journey.  Enjoy the beautiful, breath-taking view of the Canyon from the other direction.  Halfway down the Canyon is the canyon hotel, Posada Barrancas Mirador.  The hotel is located on the Canyon's edge near the highest point of the rim.  It is the only hotel where each guest room has a spectacular view overlooking the Canyon.  From the hotel you can walk and visit the Tarahumara Indians who live in the caves below.

Back aboard the Chepe Train, dinner is served in the dinning car and we arrive back in El Fuerte at 1800 hour for our second night's stay at the 16th century mansion.  This is just in time to meet Zorro at the Palapa Bar, featuring live music, Pina Coladas and Margaritas.  The ladies can even dance with Zorro.  These grounds are believed to be the original site where Zorro once lived.  El Fuerte was once the hub for the railroad lines and quite a bustling town in its time.  Walk the cobble stoned streets, visit the Indian village or, weather permitting, take a raft ride down El Fuerte river.  Whatever you choose, there is plenty to enjoy in and along this incredible Canyon and will leave you with memories for a lifetime.  Combine this with a package of ocean fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming and you will most likely agree that life does not get much better then this!  Especially when you can watch your catch of the day being barbequed by the chef, along with some fresh  shrimp and Sonoran Steaks, while holding your favorite drink in your hand.  Lets go fishing!

The   5 day / 4 nights  tour  allows you to spend a second  day and night in Creel.  The town of Creel has so many beautiful and interesting sites to visit, it makes it worthwhile to stay the extra day sightseeing this area.  Please note that when you book these multi day charters, 3 days and more, and you arrive by air in Hermosillo, the plane arrives after lunch the day before your tour.  We will pick you up at the airport, so you gain a extra half day at the beginning and a half  day at the end of your Mexican holiday.
