Q. Where is San Carlos Mexico?
A. San Carlos is 4 hours south of Nogales Arizona. It is located in the Mexican State of Sonora which is a "free zone". The Sonora "Free Zone" is basically an area set up for easy visitation by tourists. San Carlos is 70 miles south of the states capital Hermosillo and 10 minutes from the port town of Guaymas. Q. How do I get to San Carlos Mexico?
A. Unless you are close enough to drive we recommend you to fly into the international airports located in Hermosillo or Guaymas, Sonora Mexico. We will greet you at the airport upon arrival and then drive you to beautiful San Carlos if you schedule a minimum 3 day vacation package with us.

Q. What paperwork do I need to have to travel to Mexico?
A. The paperwork requirements to visit Mexico beyond the frontier zone (about 10 miles from the border) are not that difficult, but do require a little advanced planning. To go beyond the frontier zone one needs a tourist card or visa. Since San Carlos is in the Sonora "Free Zone", this is free for up to a 7 day visit. Anything beyond the 7 days costs a little over $22 USD. To get a tourist card or visa one needs: a valid passport. Any child traveling with just one parent must present a letter from the other parent given written permission. We suggest making photo copies of any important documents such as your passport and photo identification such as drivers license.

Q. How many people can the Endeavor accommodate?
A. Endeavor has 2 private births that can accommodate 4 adults. If absolutely necessary we can find room for a 5th adult but it is not recommended. It is possible also to bring along a child.

Q. What is the environment like on the Endeavor?
A. We like to think of the environment as casual, fun, but first class - with excellent service and cuisine. By nature, being on a yacht on the Sea of Cortez in beautiful San Carlos Mexico is relaxing, unique, and unforgettable.

Q. What do I need to bring with me?
A. Not much! Our yacht is fully equipped for charter, from every imaginable viewpoint. Apart from stowing your personal possessions, you could step aboard and leave the dock without a further thought. Bring your passport and your own personal items like personal toiletries, a camera, sunglasses, beach towels, sun tan lotion, sun hat and so on, but that's about it.

Q. Which days of the week can I begin and end my charter?
A. Any day is possible. We are flexible to fit in your needs and availability.

Q. Who is the crew that will accompany us on the yacht?
A. The Endeavor is crewed by our highly skilled Captain and a wonderful cook.

Q. How much does it cost to charter Endeavor?
A. Our all inclusive multi-day charters are $650 USD per day for 4 persons (taxes are included and paid for by Mexico Yacht Vacation). Some restrictions apply. Add $160 USD for a 5th passenger per day (the 5th passenger will use the hide a bed in the large salon). If the 5th person is a child under 16 years of age they will enjoy half price of the $160 USD with Mexico Yacht Vacation. These funds include the meals and some complimentary beverages. Generally everything, the yacht, the crew, fishing license, provisioning and fuel are all included. Anything that the charterer wishes to purchase ashore is at the charterer's expense. There is an $880 USD deposit required at the time of booking the yacht, balance to be paid within days of boarding. *We are currently offering a special combination vacation package offering both our Yacht Charter package along with the popular Copper Canyon Train Tour. Q. Do you substitute lodging on the Copper Canyon guided tours?
A. At times while booking during peak season our brochure advertised hotels may be allready filled up ,should this situation arise we will substitude with a different hotel to accomodate our clients. We will do our best to get you the same quality lodging if this situation arises.

Q. What is not included in the vacation packages?
A. Transportation to San Carlos or airfare to and from Hermosillo or Guaymas is not included. Transportation from the Hermosillo International Airport is included with any of our three day or longer vacation packages. Any vacation package of less than 3 days will include transportation from the Guaymas airport. Any alcoholic beverages, purchases or rentals ashore and any activities not mentioned in the vacation package arranged with Mexico Yacht Vacation.

Q. What are the terms and conditions I need to agree to for the trip?

Q. How do I book a charter with Mexico Yacht Vacation?

We recommend booking early. There is an $880 USD deposit required at time of booking or 45 days prior to boarding. We also recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance incase something arises and interrupts your travel plans.
