This itinerary is an example of what could be done on your private yacht but the itinerary is yours to set. If you like a particular anchorage, you don't have to leave! The captain is there to advise you as to what wonders and mysteries the area holds. The captain can also inform you of the best places and anchorages for your selected activities. We are very flexible according to your desires. The only limits are your imagination.
 
Arrival day - Arrive at Hermosillo airport, where we will be there to greet you and drive you to San Carlos.  After helping you getting settled, you have the chance to take a breather, relax, and enjoy the Mexican atmosphere.  That evening, dinner is on us at one of the exceptional local restaurants where you will enjoy your first San Carlos outing.

Day 1 - After a good breakfast on board we will get the tourist paperwork out of the way and spend the rest of the day enjoying some of your selected land activities. Dinner is prepared and served on your Yacht Endeavor. That night we will anchor enjoying the beautiful skyline of San Carlos.

Day 2 - This day starts off with a delicious breakfast served onboard.  After giving you safety instructions we cast off to the Isla San Pedro. This island is the largest offshore island in the area and lies about 18 miles from San Carlos. The islands attraction is the great fishing, diving, snorkeling, swimming with friendly sea lions and of course exploring the islands caves either by zodiac or kayak. Next we cruise a few miles north looking for whales. That afternoon we anchor at beautiful Caleta Amarga where the crew will prepare dinner and barbeque the catch of the day.

Day 3 - After anchoring in a bay overnight and a good breakfast we give you some introduction to snorkeling and kayaking. After that, we cruise north for some water activities and whale watching. We will stop at islands, snorkel the reefs, kayak over the reefs and all while exploring and enjoying the islands beauty. You can try your hand at bottom fishing and see if you can catch dinner for everybody or we can feast on the delicious and famous Sonoran beef steaks. Later on, we will anchor at Caleta Venecia. A beautiful and peaceful bay where we will anchor for the night and start our own fiesta with the usual happy hour. There is nothing like watching the beautiful Sonoran sunsets while sipping on a margarita or a cerveza from your private yacht in the Sea of Cortez.

Day 4 - Today we go cruising up north looking for gray, blue, fin whales or whatever else we can find. These great animals come to mate and give birth in these warm waters of the Sea of Cortez. Enjoy the cruise with zillions of dolphins that play in Endeavor's wake. Depending on the time of year we can troll for Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Dorado or whatever else is around... it’s your playground. We can visit a bird sanctuary on one of the many islands. Whatever you want, as we cater the trip around your likes and activities. When the day is almost over and you’re tired we anchor overnight at Ensenada Julio Villa where we can peacefully enjoy another great meal that the crew prepared. Enjoy the fresh shrimp, fish, and delicious steaks. Nobody goes hungry on this ship.

Day 5 - This day could be spent on land or on the water or it could be a combination of both. Let’s try one version, this time we cruise south, looking for whales, dolphins, maybe try fishing one more time for the big ones or we head straight to the mouth of the estuary El Soldato. It is a protected wildlife sanctuary and is considered one of Mexico’s most beautiful. Take a kayak and explore the lagoon and the mangrove channels. Watch pelicans and other birds feed on sardines and anchovies and play among acres of dolphins. By mid afternoon we cruise back to the marina in San Carlos where evening dinner is being prepared by our faithful crew along with a few margaritas and cervezas.

Day 6 -This is a land activity day. After a great breakfast we will take a drive to the city of Guaymas. It is an old port city with plenty of history, some part of its history was quite violent with battles, war, pirates and the Spanish. Many people have tried to conquer this town but the Mexican natives held strong and Guaymas was never overtaken. This town has some beautiful architecture and lovely souvenir shopping. We will take you around and show you some of these places and then go for a great seafood lunch in this port town. After all shrimping was and still is a very important part of this friendly city of about 100,000 people. After a great lunch we have a few choices, depending on what is open and your preferred activity choices. We can visit the delfinario, the museum, the pearl farm or admire the beautiful architecture of the churches to name a few... its all there for you, whatever you choose.  By mid afternoon we drive back to San Carlos.  Tonight is a wonderful party night at a local restaurant courtesy of us.

Day 7 - Champions breakfast is earlier then normal. Afterwards we drive you back to Hermosillo to catch a plane or to your pre booked hotel in San Carlos, what ever is on your agenda. We know you will have many memories of this great vacation to remember for a long time with Mexico Yacht Vacation. Perhaps we will see you again next year.
